On May 25, 2018, a law for the protection of personal data came into force across Europe – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that every company that uses personal data such as name or date of birth is obliged to take measures to protect this data. This is what the Academy for Research on Aging at Haus der Barmherzigkeit does.
Due to the GDPR you have …
- the right to information (which data is collected?)
- the right to rectification,
- the right to restrict processing (unless there is a legal or contractual basis) and
- the right to complain
You can find out how we process your data on this website in our data protection declaration.
You can also find out how we process and protect your data in the Academy for Research on Aging at Haus der Barmherzigkeit in the data protection declaration. When we process your personal data, we always do so after we have obtained your consent. Then we use your data for research and teaching purposes in the fields of geriatrics, gerontology and ambient assisted living. Under no circumstances will your data be used for advertising!
